The tourist office is now open week days .April to September and the shop is slowly being filled by TouchWood products and items from various local craft makers.    Edinbane Pottery , Uig Pottery , Whyte-Wood crafts , Glendale toy museum , Dandelion Designs, the Croft Studio , Brae Fasach Studio all have things for sale .SLACA display cabinets are now being put to good use

After more than 4 years Uig again has a Tourist Office
wooden products from touchwood
thanks to the efforts of  T ouchWood and its workforce . It is now up to local businesses to ensure it gets the support it needs .
Members of the Dunvegan & North West Skye craft group and Skye & Lochalsh Arts & Crafts assoc. will ensure that local products are on the shelves & in the display cabinets.
